インクレディブル・ストリング・バンド （Incredible String Band） 「The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion」

　英国のフォーク・デュオ、インクレディブル・ストリング・バンドが１９６７年に Elektra から発表したセカンド・アルバムだ。
　デビュー時は３人組だったが、クライブ・パーマーが脱退して２人組となった。ひょうひょうとしたフォーク色が強まった。ヤル気度が恐ろしく低い感じの彼等だが、このアルバムでは少しはあるかも？
　アルバムは Sundazed による再発アナログ盤で保有している。音質は、まずまず良いと思う。
